These punch boards are crafted by a factory specializing in leathercraft tools, with every detail designed specifically for leatherworking. They feature an impressive 30 mm (1.18") thickness — much thicker than standard boards — which provides added stability for diamond hole punches, reduces noise during striking, and minimizes rebound thanks to the board’s weight. (Note: the Small size is 20 mm / 0.79" thick.)
The boards also feature a unique grainy texture that’s gentle on your tools while providing a non-slip surface that grips your leather securely. They're specially engineered to prevent deformation and raised bumps when using diamond hole punches, helping protect the grain side of your leather from scratches or marks. Their carefully balanced hardness allows punches to penetrate smoothly with less force, avoiding the rebound effect often seen in harder boards.
