Hornback Crocodile Embossed Leather, 2.5-3 oz - Cognac Brown

This cowhide leather is embossed with a distinctive hornback crocodile pattern, featuring pronounced raised scales surrounded by smaller scales. It has a soft-to-medium temper, making it pliable while maintaining some body. The pattern runs lengthwise along the hide, and each piece is cut in the same direction, so the scales follow the length of the piece.

Craft Cut Sizes & Scale Arrangement

• Craft Cut (1.5-2 sq ft): Approximately 8-10" wide × 28-32" long, featuring one central row of large raised scales bordered by smaller scales on both sides.

• Craft Cut (3-4 sq ft): Approximately 16-18" wide × 30-32" long, featuring two rows of large raised scales, with smaller scales between them and along the outer edges.

Dimensions are approximate and may vary, but each piece contains the advertised square footage.

Half Sides & Full Sides

• Half Side (6-7 sq ft): half of a full side, cut to the advertised square footage.

• Full Sides (13-15 and 16-18 sq ft): full uncut hides, exactly as they arrive from the tannery.
