This particular Vachetta leather comes from our partner tannery in the Tuscany region of Italy.

Made from carefully selected hides, this premium leather is very clean, with minimal blemishes and a beautiful grain. The vegetable tanning process, using a unique blend of mimosa and quebracho extracts, gives it a perfect natural color, just the right amount of sheen, and a smooth, soft feel. The tanning process, along with the balanced fat content in the hide, makes it softer than other vegetable-tanned leathers. Over time, this leather develops a rich and elegant patina. The flesh side is clean, buffed, and soft to the touch.
