Italian Veg Tan Vachetta Leather - Panels, Warm Natural Color

Vachetta leather is a renowned type of vegetable-tanned full-grain leather, widely used by luxury brands for crafting bags and accessories. It is vegetable-tanned using plant-based tannins and has an intact full-grain surface that preserves its natural beauty. This particular Vachetta leather comes from our partner tannery in the Tuscany region of Italy.

Made from carefully selected hides, this premium leather is very clean, with minimal blemishes and a beautiful grain. The vegetable tanning process, using a unique blend of mimosa and quebracho extracts, gives it a perfect natural color, just the right amount of sheen, and a smooth, soft feel. The tanning process, along with the balanced fat content in the hide, makes it softer than other vegetable-tanned leathers. The flesh side is clean, buffed, and soft to the touch. Over time, this leather develops a rich and elegant patina.

• Panel S: 12x12 inches.
• Panel M: 12x24 inches.
• Panel L: 12x36 inches.
• Panel XL: 24x24 inches.

For larger projects, we also offer Sides: 18–20 sq ft and Double Shoulders: 12–14 sq ft.
